User requirements for technical support vary depending on experience, priorities, and schedule. So, we offer three tiers of 12-month technical support options. (Note that these are based on a calendar year).

TrueProp customers get the most from their investment by keeping their MSU subscription current. Each MSU provides 12 months of updates and support for the calendar year, helping you stay protected and up to date. If your MSU has expired, a catch-up fee of $880 per year covers the value of the new capabilities and updates released during those missed years that you will now receive with a current MSU subscription.

Your purchase of TrueProp gives you a Perpetual Lifetime License for the version that you acquired. For example, if you purchased TrueProp in 2025, you will be entitled to run TrueProp 2025 without expiration or interruption. ​

Frequently Asked Questions

Program updates are a big part of our commitment to user support. It is just not possible to provide technical support for out-of-date versions for users whose subscription has lapsed.

Users whose subscription has lapsed and are running a non-current version can purchase a subscription, but will also have to pay a “catch-up fee” equal to the current Basic subscription price ($880) for the number of years that have lapsed. For example, a user still running the 2024 version in 2026 can purchase their choice of a subscription tier (say, $1300 for the Essential tier for 2026), plus a mandatory “catch-up fee” for the lapsed year (an additional $880 for 2025).

The MSU subscription provides 12 months of support and updates for a calendar year. For users running an old version without an active MSU subscription, a “catch-up” fee brings you to the same version as those users that have a current subscription.

In this case, you are required to pay a catch-up fee for each year lapsed. For instance, if you are running TrueProp 2023 and would like to upgrade to TrueProp 2026, you are required to pay a catch-up fee of $880 for 2024 + $880 for 2025 = total catch-up fee of $1760.
