These kits feature a data acquisition system for interfacing with the electronic position sensors (encoders) on your pitchometer. These electronic kits make connection and upgrading your existing pitchometer a plug-and-play experience, including the specialized cables and adapters specific to your system.

Connection Kit for Prop Scan E2/E3/E4

The connection kit adapts a functional Prop Scan unit for use with TrueProp Software. These kits are non-invasive, plug-and-play style connections from the existing cables or bayonet ports on the DTS and rotary table. This kit eliminates the use of the “blue box” and provides a way to re-use your all of your Prop Scan hardware with a new computer running TrueProp.

Upgrade Kit for Prop Scan E2/E3/E4

Upgrade kits are ideal for damaged or non-functioning Prop Scan units. These kits include replacement encoders for inside both the rotary table and the DTS unit, which means you can fully eliminate ALL proprietary Prop Scan electronics from your machine! The new encoders increase resolution dramatically and the replacement bearings help to eliminate flex from the DTS drop rod. Unlock your Prop Scan’s full potential with TrueProp Software, but note that this system is not-backwards compatible with the original Prop Scan software.

PropView 3 – Connection Kits and Replacement Parts

These PropView 3 systems can be connected to TrueProp Software with the hardware included in this kit. The kit includes a new, compatible data acquisition system, upgraded noise-resistant cables, foot pedal, and power supply. We also offer replacement gears, rack/pinion tracks, bearings and rails for these systems.

Hale MRI – Software Upgrades and Replacement Parts

TrueProp supports software-only upgrades from Hale MRIs 2016 and newer. For older MRI machines, we offer new updated data acquisition systems to enable your migration from older Win 98 and XP era computers to a Windows 10/11 system with TrueProp.

For all Hale MRIs, TrueProp offers replacement encoders for angle, radius, and drop axes. Whether your scales are thin and black carbon fiber tubes, older ½ inch metal tubes, or even rotary encoders with contact wheels, we can provide you with the proper compatible replacement part to keep your system running.
